RAS AL KHAIMAH, 5th August, 2025 – H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Lutfullah Göktas, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, today at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, in a ceremony that marked the start of the ambassador’s term in the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Saud sent his best regards to Ambassador Göktas for a fruitful diplomatic mission, hoping that the ambassador’s endeavors would further strengthen the UAE-Türkiye bilateral cooperation across different fields.
In turn, Ambassador Göktas extended his warm thanks to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his hospitality and warm welcome. He valued the UAE’s high level of regional and international influence and applauds the peaceful, sustainable development that has been observed within the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
The meeting demonstrates the close and developing relationship between the UAE and the Republic of Türkiye and confirms mutual interests in intensifying diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation.
