Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Receives GCC Secretary-General to Discuss Regional Cooperation and Upcoming Meetings
Kuwait, August 06, 2025, Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, received Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi today in Kuwait to explore ways to enhance joint Gulf cooperation.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed preparations for the 165th session of the GCC Ministerial Council, set for early September, as well as coordination for the upcoming joint Gulf ministerial meetings to be held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments, reaffirming the importance of unified efforts to address common challenges and strengthen Gulf solidarity.
