Riyadh to Host Global Health Exhibition 2025 with SAR100,000 Startup Pitch Competition
Riyadh, August 06, 2025, Riyadh will again be the hub of international healthcare innovation when it hosts the Global Health Exhibition 2025 on October 27-30 at Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. One of the highlights of this year’s event is the comeback of the NextGen Pitch Competition, featuring the world’s most promising upcoming health technology startups.
Hosted by Tahaluf—a collaborative venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa PLC and under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, the event is supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program.
Through the NextGen Pitch Competition, digital health innovators are sought to link with vital funding, mentorship, and market exposure on the global stage. Startups in medical technology, biotechnology, life sciences, public health, and clinical innovation are encouraged to compete for the SAR100,000 grand prize, as well as the chance to grow their presence in the market. An industry expert panel will select 20 finalists based on their ability to increase accessibility in healthcare, promote equity, and push preventative care forward.
Furthermore, the Global Health Exhibition 2025 will also include a Venture Forum on the second and fourth days, providing participants with greater insight into Saudi Arabia’s healthcare investment ecosystem. The third day will highlight procurement and supply chain innovation, with emphasis on sustainable purchasing models.
This eighth edition of the exhibition comes at a time of rapid economic growth for the Kingdom. In the first half of 2025 alone, venture capital investments surged to $860 million, marking a 116% increase compared to the same period in 2024 surpassing the entire previous year’s funding.
As Saudi Arabia makes its transition into a regional centre of healthcare innovation and investment, the Global Health Exhibition is a prime platform on which to enhance international collaborations and shape the future of healthcare.
