Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah sees over 40 million worshippers during Hajj 1446
MADINAH More than 40 million worshippers visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah during the 1446 Hajj season, according to the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.
In an official statement on Thursday, the authority confirmed that a total of 40,103,344 people prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque between Dhul Qadah 1 and Dhul Hijjah 29, 1446 AH.
The historic turnout reflects the success of integrated services and seamless coordination among various agencies, which contributed to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and spiritually enriching atmosphere for visitors.
The authority emphasized its continued commitment to improving service quality inside the mosque and its courtyards, aiming to elevate the spiritual journey for pilgrims and worshippers arriving from across the globe.
