Saudi Arabia Denounces Israeli ‘Greater Israel’ Plan, Reaffirms Support for Palestinian Statehood
RIYADH — Saudi Arabia on Wednesday strongly condemned statements by the prime minister of the Israeli occupation government promoting the so-called “Vision of Greater Israel.”
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s complete rejection of all settlement and expansionist policies pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities. The Kingdom reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s historical and legal right to establish an independent, sovereign state on their own land, in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
Saudi Arabia also cautioned the international community about the dangers posed by Israel’s ongoing violations, warning that such actions erode the principles of international legitimacy, infringe on state sovereignty, and threaten both regional and global peace and security.
