Dubai Attracts 9.88 Million Global Tourists in H1 2025, Marking 6% Year-on-Year Growth

Dubai’s hotel sector also posted strong performance in H1 2025, with:

80.6% occupancy rate (up from 78.7% in H1 2024)

22.24 million occupied room nights

AED 584 average daily rate (ADR)

AED 471 RevPAR (up 7% YoY)

In gastronomy, Dubai made history with two restaurants entering the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, and FZN becoming the city’s first MICHELIN three-starred restaurant alongside Trèsind Studio.

Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of DET, reiterated that tourism is a central pillar of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, with continued emphasis on experiential travel, sustainability, and technology.

Dubai also earned international recognition, having been awarded the first Certified Autism Destination™ in the Eastern Hemisphere and being ranked the world’s safest city for single female travelers in a 2025 InsureMyTrip study.
