Manuel ‘ManuBachoore’ Bachoore Wins EA Sports FC 25 World Championship, Team Liquid Makes EWC History
Riyadh, August 11, 2025 — Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore won the EA Sports FC 25 World Championship in the grand final of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 with a nail-biting 5-3 win over Team Vitality’s Brice “Brice” Masson. This is his second world title in his career, having won his first in 2023, and solidifies him as one of the game’s top players.
Speaking for Team Liquid, ManuBachoore’s victory also accounted for a historic feat for the club — they became the first EWC team to win three championships in one season. This newest victory earns them 1,000 Club Championship points, moving them to the leader of the standings.
The journey to the title for the Dutch champion started in the play-ins, where he easily navigated the group stage, losing just one match. His run in the main event was much tougher, with some tight one-goal victories that displayed the level of competition at the top level.
The grand final itself was an action-packed thriller, with the two finalists trading goals in quick succession. Having a narrow one-goal lead in the dying seconds, ManuBachoore put the match beyond doubt with a late killer blow to take the 5-3 victory.
Post-match, ManuBachoore stated:
“I’m so grateful to God. Becoming a two-time World Champion is more than I could have dreamed. The first time, I didn’t really appreciate what I’d done. This time, I’m absorbing it. It feels like a dream — beginning in the play-ins and to finish here with the trophy is unbelievable.”
Team Liquid’s victory inflicted a strategic dent on Team Vitality, who are third overall in the Club Championship standings but now trail second-ranked Team Falcons by just 550 points.
The EWC 2025 rolls on into week six with Teamfight Tactics, Rocket League, and Tekken 8 finals going on until August 17, as the fight for the Club Championship title intensifies.
